Livestock pasture with farmhouse and stud farm
Located in the municipality of Coripe, this extensive farm spans 615 hectares, with 285 hectares exclusively designated for dry farming. The remaining land comprises pastures and holm oak groves, partitioned into enclosures, each averaging 40 hectares in size and interconnected. The property boasts a total of nine wells.
The main residence, measuring 500 square meters, is thoughtfully arranged around a central courtyard. In addition to the main house, there are six auxiliary dwellings for staff, two storage sheds, a pumping station, and covered areas designated for machinery and workshops.
The equestrian facilities are well-appointed, featuring 17 spacious horse boxes, two training arenas measuring 35×20 and 75×40, a tack room, and sheltered spaces for mares.
For cattle management, the farm incorporates nine corrals, totalling 20,000 square meters in size, spread across the property. Each corral is equipped with covered feeding troughs, pylons, and watering troughs.
In terms of pig farming, the facilities encompass 5,000 square meters of fenced areas and 180 square meters of sheds along the perimeters. These areas include camping farrowing pens, three 10,000 kg feed bunkers, water tanks, a feeding system, chutes, and a loading dock.
The livestock inventory on the farm consists of the following:
- Equine Stock: The farm maintains an equine population of approximately 40 head, including 16 brood mares, 2 stallions, foals, and a variety of working horses, all of the PRE (Pura Raza Española) breed. Each equine is duly registered in the LGANCCE Stud Book under the farm’s brand name.
- Cattle: The farm is home to around 200 Limousin breed cows, each of which is registered with ANABE (Asociación Nacional de Criadores de Ganado Bovino de Raza Limusina).
- Pigs: Approximately 400 Iberian pigs are raised on the farm, with 50% of them being fed on acorns before eventual sale.
